Hi, I’m Rory, a sound designer for interactive games and linear media based in Lichfield. I’m a Leeds Beckett graduate (2019) where I studied for my BSc in Music Technology and MSc in Sound For Interactive Games. I currently work as a sound designer for EA/Codemasters on the F1 franchise. I’m enthusiastic about technical sound design and digital audio system creation. I enjoy the challenge of developing high level interactive audio systems as much I do the creative side of sound design. On the F1 audio team my role ranges from asset/system creation to field recordist at the F1 pre-season tests. I’ve also overseen the production of the theme music for the last couple years (I even got to create some music for the game myself) and spend the little down time we get optimising existing pipelines with PowerShell scripts.
Outside of sound design work I enjoy mountain biking, creating interactive visual systems, electronics and working on music projects as Data_Haven & Ext. Lyf.
